Week One – Getting Started

This Illinois property turned out to be a great house to rehab. This bi-level is conveniently located near I-57 in a nice neighborhood, offering convenient access to downtown Chicago. It will be difficult for you to realize that this is the same house when you see the final pictures.

We were able to get our landscaping crew to remove the overgrowth in the front and backyard before the polar vortex hit! Next, the demo crew went to town on the inside. The exterior was literally transformed. You’ll see what I mean when you see the final pictures in Part 4 of this blog series. Installing a new garage door was another item we cared for right away.

We had a tighter budget but the end result was outstanding — a full-price offer on the house within one week of listing it!
